Most of our previous generation or 1.0 physicians encounter with IT world was restricted to emails,word processing and some internet search for pubmed articles.

The current generation of physicians 2.0 are more IT savy in use of portable devices like Blackberry for communications,tablet PC of daily multi tasking features.

But,still this is not adequate,as there is significant amount of information overload. Patients are now more savy in their quest for health related information.According to various polls Health related information is the third most search term on the internet after Porno and Sports related information.

As more physicians get on IT comfort zone ,then the Health care IT revolution can move forward at considerable pace.
